While checking out L to the Third's blog, I came across the Project 366 Rewind. Finally, some guidance on what to blog about! This year showed be full of a lot posts from me.
But until then here are some new pictures of our life lately! You can consider this Henry's 3 1/2 month update.
Henry is getting big! We aren't sure of weight and height but he is now wearing 3 to 6 month cloths snuggly , but 6 to 9 months fit best at this point for his length.
Firsts:
Grabbing toys off of tummy and putting them in his month (started this after Thanksgiving)
Even though Henry has yet to sleep through the night he can hold his own bottle
Henry made his acting debut as baby Jesus in our churches "Journey to Bethlehem"
Henry enjoy his exersaucer. He love to spin the chickens.
Another first for Henry was finally being able to travel to the Lake with Mommy and Daddy. He finally had the chance to meet our closest family friends.
Henry got his first sled while at the Lake!
Things Henry enjoys:
Sucking on his wash cloth
Chewing his thumb and holding his blanket or a burp cloth
Getting his pictures taken... We enjoy this, too!
Henry also likes to push his feet off the floor to move himself backward on his play mat. He has figured out how the position himself just right so that he can reach the toy he wants to hit or grab with his feet. A favorite game of Henry's is to play peek-a-boo with Mom and Dad. One of us will hold him and Henry will smile at the parent not holding him and then dive into our chest to hide his face.
Henry is a pretty easy going kiddo with only a few dislikes right now. He has finally started to freak out when he is caught off guard by something, but he isn't always the same things. The most common freak outs are a result of me sneezing too loud =) However, he has also been startled by his own farts, a dog braking, and the hand dryers in a public restroom. Another dislike of Henry's would be sleeping at night. Henry is very good at sticking to his nap schedule and will sleep a minimum of 40 minutes at each nap. He gets sleepy and goes to bed at the same time every night, but he will not sleep through the night. We were spoiled for a few weeks when he gave us 6.5 hours... Now anything goes!

Yay! You're back! I was in dire need of a Henry update! :D (And Sammy was and still is kind of afraid of the hand driers in public bathrooms--they always make him startle and cry a little bit, so maybe it's a family thing? :D)
